Find out if XGS-PON is available in an area.

Any idea if it's possible to find out if older co-ax network has been upgraded for a specific road?

I've Googled a lot and everything seems to come back as virgin being the old HFC. 

I would ring but you know how difficult getting on touch with any company these days is so thought I'd ask the knowledgeable people on here.

      Thanks to all that replied. Yes max sped is 1gig so must still be the old network thanks. Got sky down to 25 quid a month for next 24 months from 46 quid so that will do for now for my parents in the meantime. Hope virgin crack on with their upgrades though as I've been really happy with my 1gig virgin media since having it. But I also don't care so much about cost as my parents do.

        I can't understand why VM would even be considered when Sky can offer OR FTTP.

      I did check that it says HFC, but it also says XGS-PON isn't in my area and it is cause I have it and did as it was recently installed completely new to my area. Unless I'm misreading the info.
