Engineer completed installation 26h ago, still no internet

Engineer installed the equipment, said the connection was all good, and that Internet service should be activated with an hour or two.

Have power cycled the hub multiple times, but we're over 26h on now and still have no Internet.

Connecting to the hub and looking at the status summary shows "Internet (Access Denied)".

Service status page from my account page on VM says "You're service hasn't been installed yet".

Can anyone help please?

  • Same issue I'm having.. now 4 days in and still no internet. Another engineer is coming tomorrow after probably about 5 hours on the phone to Virgin trying to get it resolved - including checking MAC addresses, serial numbers etc.

      Have just spoken to a chap at Virgin. Apparently there' s no record of the installation and therefore they've had to book another engineer to come out and register the particulars of the hub. Hoping I'm just having my entire share of issues up front 🤞

        Don't forget to claim compensation - I believe it's £6.10 per day
