Damaged Manhole Cover

Hi, there is a broken manhole cover on the road outside our house. I have reported this via the virgin media website and to the local council several times, but it has not been fixed. The local council have informed me that it is virgin media's responsibility. The concrete surrounding the cover is broken and the cover is loose causing a loud noise every time a vehicle drives over it. This is massively impacting our mental health as we have to listen to it all day and all night. My partner, who is currently pregnant, also tripped on the broken concrete last week while crossing the road. Picture of cover below. Please can you sent people out to fix this as soon as possible?     Hi - we've had a similar problem for nearly a year now and its driving everyone in the neighbourhood mad. The postcode is BS48 3PF and the manhole flaps and bangs every time a car goes over it. I had posted on this before and you confirmed that you were going to the council to get a permit to get the lights in place for the work, but your permit has run out today and no work has taken place. Can someone let me know what is going on? We were all hoping that the endless noise was going to stop.

        Hi Dave,

        We've heard back from our support team who have advised a permit was granted to put temporary traffic lights in place, however we're still waiting on the road closure permit to be granted. Once we have that, we'll be able to get the temp lights authorised again and get the work completed.

        Sorry this is taking so long. Rest assured we're doing all we can to bring this matter to a resolution as soon as possible.
