Coax cable broken

My QuickStart kit was delivered today and I was just about to set it up and I noticed my coax cable is broken. How do I get a replacement?

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post. This board is not a fault reporting system.

No, but people resort to this forum due to how utterly useless VM’s customer support is.

    Quickest way will be Amazon.

        It’s coaxial cable..

  • And yes, the installer used RG6 cable.

Amazon cable could be a cheaper alternative, that will potentially cause noise on the local HFC network.

      Okay, I should’ve said

Amazon is your best bet, but make sure you get a good quality cable like Triax with decent copper shielding and braiding. Make sure you buy it pre terminated, too, with decent compression connectors.

but I thought “amazon will be quickest” was more concise.

  • Indeed, the general consumer would just buy any cheap coax as 'It's all the same'.

    Still, breaching your contract terms.
