Bad to worse

So after a delayed installation of 57 days I now find out that Virgin did not transfer my service from my old provider and I lose my landline. I understood from them they would deal with it direct without me having to do anything anyone else had this? Virgin do not give me any confidence in their service I wish I had not started

    Did you use the one touch switch process (OTS)? AIUI there are supposed to be safeguard processes built into that to prevent a number being lost if the switch does not complete on time.
