App still showing preparing property (New install)

I have been connected from the street to the house a week ago and the app is still showing preparing property. 
The engineer is supposed to be coming to the house this Friday. 
Is this common?

    We're sorry to hear the app hasn't updated yet. Things won't usually update until the services are all up and running. From what you've said, it sounds as though the external work has been completed and you're waiting on an engineer to complete the internal side of the installation. 

    Once the services are working, it can usually take a few days for all the back end systems to update.
