Wished to reduce package to lower costs ...
Not really sure what to make of this: I contacted VM over the phone and got through (eventually) to someone called Jerry. I stated that I was looking to save money (been with VM for over 10 years at this address) and was hoping to get a favourable deal. I currently pay for M250 and TV (including movies and TNT). I was put on hold for about 20 minutes and when he returned (no apology for the wait) I was offered a £6 reduction. This is actually higher than what I was offered via online renewal. When I advised of this, the response was complete indifference. I offered to have elements of the TV package removed but apparently this wouldn't make a difference. He went as far as telling me "no" and that they couldn't be removed. Surely that's not correct???
I asked if there was anyone else I might be able to talk to and was again told no.
By and large, I enjoy the speed and reliability of VM, but this was shocking.
Anyone else had similar behaviour and did you manage to escalate it to someone who might care a little? Suggestions welcome!
