Virgin media connect app isn't working

I got the virgin media connect app which works with your broadband hot spots but now I'm trying to log in it states you must have a 02 account to get the account up and running it states you can sign in with your normal virgin media account but it's joined along with 02 can't use it tried email address doesn't seem to work

  • I've contacted virgin media direct but it's linked with virgin media and 02 accounts but I've failed security checks I could access it before but it's noŵ gone awol can't use it now

    Hi Jonathanphillip,

    We're sorry to hear you're having some issues logging into the connect app. 

    You'll need a Virgin Media O2 ID for the app. To set up your Virgin Media O2 ID, you’ll simply use your email address and then choose which authentication method you’d like to use to sign in (like a password or passkey). From there you’ll use this single set of credentials to sign in to any Virgin Media and O2 online spaces.

    There is some helpful information here on how to set this up.

      @vicky _M  I've tried logging in with email just doesn't go anywhere with the original sign in virgin media account nothing seems to work apparently

        What happens when you try and create the ID please?

  • I've managed to download the 02 app but still can't get anywhere with the sign in registry to the virgin media account just sends you a email link but nothing happens once sent to your email address 👍 

  • By reinstalling the connect app it's back to normal again it's all back up and running again something wrong with the app it's working OK now 👌 👍
