Virgin Media 02ID

Have got in a  bit of a muddle!

Tried to log into account and was asked to confirm email etc - I have two that I use. In the end I verified both as got totally confused. The one I can access the account with now is not the one I want to use but cant change it to the other one as thats verified ..but wont let me link account to VM as its alreadys et up with the other email.

I need to just start again but Im in a loop now

    Thanks for posting in regards to the VMO2 ID issues around the linked email addresses, we appreciate you raising this via the forums and welcome to the community.

    We link your accounts with the email address you’ve used previously to sign in to My Virgin Media and My O2.

     

    If you want to change the email address you use for either your My Virgin Media or My O2 account, you can do so by registering a new Virgin Media O2 ID with a new email address, or by signing in to an existing account that doesn’t have any services associated to it.

     

    You can then manually search for the account you want to link. Follow the journey online to set this up and link it to your account. More help with VMO2 ID's can be found here.

  • I now have two accounts and my 02 account is linked to the wrong one - been trying to change it various ways and verifying every email that gets sent but nothing is working

  • Yes - but just kept getting verification emails but nothing then happened. Tried again this morning and have message saying account transfers blocked for today - assume its because the amount of times I tried yesterday.

    Will try again tomorrow - its just made my log ins more complicated :)

    If I still have issues what would be the best number to call - as assume someone would be able to sort it out from the main centre

        Hi Steven

        Still no luck.

        One account has my Virgin account linked to it and the other has my O2 account linked (told you I got in a muddle!)

        Have tried to change them to the same one (trying to move O2 to the one that Virgin is linked to) but all I keep getting are verification emails and when I click nothing changes on the waiting for approval screen.

        Think I have broken it :)
