TV & Internet going down

Hello,

Over the last couple of days my internet and tv have been going down intermittently in the afternoon. Sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for 5 or 10 minutes. I haven't been notified of any repairs going on in my area so I'm not sure if it's just me. Just thought I'd let you know in case I get cut off again.

Thanks,

Santosh

Check the automated status line in the first instance - 0800 5610061 is often the most reliable source of localised/street-level loss-of-service info.

If nothing's reported there when you have an outage, then following the standard faults reporting route is the recommended way.

  • Thanks for reaching out to us Santosh1, and welcome back to our Community Forums!

Looking into the local area, there doesn't appear to be any outages currently present in your local area.

Can you confirm if all devices appear to struggle during these periods, or is it just an issue with wireless connections?

    Thanks,

Yes, both set-top boxes froze at the same time and the internet went off too. I haven't noticed anything today yet. But it happened later in the afternoon yesterday and the day before was worse. I'm hoping that it was just a glitch.

Thanks for coming back to us Santosh1.

It may be worth running a Broadband Quality Monitor on your connection to keep tabs on any disconnections/latency that become apparent during the course of each day.

Once 24 hours has passed, this should produce a graph showing your journey and documenting the experience on our connection.

      Thanks,

Thanks David, I've signed up to that site. I'll see what the data says when it's available.
