Trying to cancel a deceased relatives account

Has anyone had issues emailing Virgin on the bereavement email address using MS Outlook?

I've completed and attached the form but Outlook doesn't allow me to send the email to the address provided.

I called the bereavement number but the options trip to other services then operators have dumped me back into a queue for the bereavement line that I called in the first place. Bit frustrated and I have sent an email from a Gmail account, but no automated response or similar has left me wondering whether it was received and will be processed.

Thoughts or advice welcome

    Hi Mark3683,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

Firstly I'd like to extend my condolences during this time.

To gain further clarification on the contact made, have you called our team on 0800 952 2302?

    Regards,

Yes I called the number. The options do not take you to a person on the bereavement team, they instead direct you to the online form but offer you speak to someone for all other queries.

On second time of asking I spoke to someone who put me on hold and placed me back in the queue I'd been in before speaking with them. I've tried this twice now
