TNT Sports removed from package

Something similar has happened to me.

I received several emails asking me to renew - all said "same package, same speeds, less hassle"

I renewed and was sent contracts which clearly stated my Addons as:

Sky Entertainment & Sports UHD

Sky Sports SD

TNT Sports.

I have just had TNT sports removed, this is not accepatable when it is clearly in the contract.

How do I resolve this? Any help appreciated.

    Welcome to the community forums 

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with your contract regarding TNT. 

    We have sent an email out regarding customers who still have TNT on a Maxit package asking them if they would like to continue to receive the channels. The email will include a link to a digital page where you'll be able to submit a request to keep the channels. Please double check you've received such an email from us in your inbox or junk mail and let us know if you've any further issues at all. 

  • This has happened to me too. The website clearly stated that I could renew my contract and receive exactly the same service. The renewal confirmation email told me that TNT Sports had been removed. I had TNT, I renewed on the same terms and then suddenly didn't have it. A total farce. I also didn't think to take a screen shot so have no way to prove anything.

      Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

      We're sorry to hear you've lost access to TNT Sports. As this is no longer included in any of our packages, it would need to be added as an add on to continue receiving the channels. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

      I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

      We had exactly the same thing.  Mental experience in losing a loyal customer who wanted to stay with them.  Contract renewal was for Maxit that always included TNT Sports (never had an email saying it was being removed as I keep all such emails) and so renew with £30 discount to current out of contract price and TNT Sports then disappears (4 weeks following the renewal contract so a long time to wait).  Phoned to get it reinstated for free as this was clearly mis-sold but told I had to pay the add-on cost.  After even more calls finally got the option of adding it on at my cost but would be given a credit - given recent experiences and multitude of reviews/forum posts I'm sorry but I trust that as far as I can throw it! So whilst still in the cooling off period I was left with no option to cancel which the person on the phone couldn't have been quicker to give me.  So cancellation was very easy!  I'm off to Sky and transferring my 4 O2 contracts with me as well 🙂

        I'm so sorry to hear you're leaving due to the experience you've had.
        We don't want to see you leave but we do understand that if this is your final decision then we wish you all the best.
        We do hope to see you again one day.

        In relation to the package change, there have been some errors where TNT Sports has been removed, but we are willing to take this privately and honour the price given through a private message if you wish and sort everything else out as agreed originally.

        If you do wish to do this, let us know and we'll send over a private message. 🙂

  • I have had the same issue, I have just been told that tnt sports was taken off in July even though it shows on out current package as a channel we have and we were told nothing would change! I have been on to customer service who said tough unless we pay to add it on! It’s disgusting and underhand!

      Sorry to hear you are having an issue with TNT Sports missing from your TV service.
      I'd like to investigate this for you and look at getting this fixed.

  • I have the same issue and didn’t receive the email. Just tried watching TNT and it’s gone. The website says it’s included in maxim xl which is what we have.

      Sorry Maxit is what we have and the screenshot shows what the website says is included.

        Sorry as well for the missing TNT Sports channels

        If I send you a private message to pass security would that be okay?

        Once security has been passed I can look at getting this added back on again. 

        If you can check the envelope top right of your screen that would be great.
