Rip Off

So contract has increased by £10 a month not a lot to some people but it is to me , I renewed the contract but my new contract is charging me £5 for the TiVo box I already have and I only have one! Is this a new way off ripping us off?. I still have enough time to cancel…. Why do Virgin think so little of their existing customers ? and why are we not treated the same as new customers?

  • As far as VM are concerned, and technically speaking, you are no longer a new customer so can charge whatever they want.

    Move to another provider and come back as a new customer the next time around, or just don't bother at all!

    Welcome back to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your new package after contract renewal. There could be an error as we shouldn't be charging you for a box that you already have. As with all providers, we have introductory offers for new customers. At the start of all our customers' time with us, they'll have benefited from such deals. Once this expires, we'll always offer the best existing customer deal available.
