Hey jamesbrennan_1_, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear this.
We would advise you to change this to a different email, is it just the one you login with you are trying to change?

Hi Matt
Thank you for messaging back.
I have used my @virgin.net email for all emails since the beginning of email accounts. It's so long ago now, I cant recall when, perhaps the early '90's. It is therefore very time consuming and complicated to change all my linked accounts. Some third party accounts which use my virgin.net original email address are that old that the user name cannot be changed from my virgin.net email address. I have health issues which I struggle with and I am due to go into hospital tomorrow for a procedure, and then stay as an inpatient for approx. 10 days, post op. which limits my ability to resolve things. I really could do with more time or I will simply not be able to resolve the issues in time. Matt, can you please assist? Thank you in anticipation.

Hi jamesbrennan_1_, thank you for your response.
We're really sorry to hear you have health issues, and we wish you all the best for the procedure.
I can see you've been speaking with a colleague privately. In order to discuss the matter further, we'd suggest responding to their latest message.
Thank you for your support goslow 👍
Regards,
Daniel

In your other topic
you stated you had VM broadband.
Unfortunately you have had no VM reply to that topic a week later.
VM may possibly be able to link your .net account to your VM broadband. If they can it would give you more time to ditch the .net mailbox

goslow....
The VM Broadband account is held in another name and I was advised that the names HAD to be identical. Lets hope Matt from VM can help.

Thanks Daniel
I thought I had replied to Matt.
How do I privately reply to him? I regret I can't see/find to find the correct button to click to do this.
Cheers
James

Hi jamesbrennan_1_,
To access your private message inbox, if you're using a PC or laptop, it's a plain envelope found beside your forum profile image at the top.
If you're using a mobile device, you will have to click/tap on the profile image in the top right corner and then select "Messages" from the drop down menu it populates. It'll also display the number of currently unread messages in your inbox.
Let us know how you get on.
Thanks,
