Power of Attorney- Not being processed

Sent in images of Scottish POA document as we don't have an access code up here, mentioned that. Still getting asked for Access Code.

Was asked for clearer photos as the poor wee Executive team claimed not to be able to read the files, (despite 6 other utility/banks being able to read the same files and accept POA). Anyway sent them off in batches as they were too large for one email.

Then received this;

"We have sent the documents to our dedicated team yesterday to process your POA, however they have replied to us and have advised that there are not Donor and Attorneys' details on the POA document, therefore they were not able to process it."

The details are LITERALLY on the front page of the document in the first paragraph!

Sent the same file back with the names heavily highlighted in yellow.

What level of buffoonery, idiocy or visual impairment is going on? 

I cant work out of this is just incompetence or stalling, but it seems pretty callous, knowing POA is given when a person looses capacity. I'm having a **bleep**e enough time with out this nonsense.

    Have you got a reply from the latest email you've sent?

    We do take these very seriously and we do need all the information to add this onto the account.

    We would advise to email back anything they are asking for.

  • I feel like you too are not reading what I have written.

    They have been sent everything they have asked for and everything that was required.

    So advising me to send what they ask for is not advice. When Ive just told you I have sent what they asked for.

    They still have not replied.

  • Everything is readable and to help, names of account holder and attorney have been underlined.

      Can you please confirm when you last received an E-Mail from our Executive Team and/or are you currently awaiting a response to a submission made to our team?

    I am waiting for a response from the 'Executive' Team.

    They have been sent all required documentation. 

    All documents are official, legible and sent in the required format.

    Each email from the Executive team claims a different fictitious problem with the documentation.

    Virgins call handler on the Critical Illness line  (Chris L) 0800 952 2302, could see all the documentation was there and correct and couldn't explain the Executive teams behaviour.

    Last email from Executive team was Wednesday.

    (Claiming no names of attorney or donor on the document. However, the names are clearly on the document, 1st paragraph).

    Its interesting the emails are not even signed by a dedicated individual that I could contact for consistency and expediency.

    This unaccountability is a designed impediment to solution based results for account holders that only benefits Virgin media in slowing or preventing loss of account/service income.

    Someone from the Executive team could call, but no. Kicking the can.

    I am SO BORED dealing with this nonsense. This is a difficult and sad time for me.

    Its next level bulldish.
