Over charged

My usual bill is £37. This bill shows the exact same breakdown (charges, discounts) but I have been charged over £110. I have discounts that last until 01 December 2025 which is clear on the bill itself. I haven't changed my contract and am part-way through an 18 month contract. How do I get my money back please.

  • Please can someone help me with this because I need to know if it's a mistake that Virgin will pay me back for, or if for some reason they didn't mention to me they have increased my monthly bill by over £70 a month in which case I will need to cancel immediately before I get this charge next month

      Hi veronica333,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear there has been some confusion with your billing. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I'll need to confirm some information with you to pass security.

I've sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you're using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you're on a mobile/tablet device then instead, click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

      Thanks,

  • This has just happened *again* only this time I have been charged £153 instead of £37!

Virgin eventually sent me a cheque for the last mistake but this can't keep happening, overcharging me twice in 3 months and this time by about £115 is crazy, it's nearly made my other bills bounce in my bills account.
