Non Itemised landline call charges

Hi,

I have been billed twice recently for calls made from my landline. The most recent being nearly £20 for a total of 74 calls. Only 14 of these were itemised at a cost of £4.

I have the “Talk More Anytime” package and don’t believe I use any of the optional chargeable features .

How do I find out what the other 60 non itemised calls relate to .

cheers.

    Not easily, unfortunately.

Of the 14 itemised calls, do you recognise the numbers as contacts that you would be calling?

Are you also aware that under your 'Anytime' package, the calls are 'inclusive' only up to the first 60 minutes and charges apply to the minutes beyond the first 60 min's? This sometimes catches people out if you happen to be a new customer.

A lot of people get billed for service numbers which are never in their included minutes. These start with 08 (like 0843, 0844, 0845, 0870, 0871 and 0872) and you pay both an access and a service charge amounting to 32p. So, if you make a call to your surgery using an 0844 number for a minute you'll pay 32p but it won't be itemised as it's less than 50p. If you did that 50 times your cost would be £16.00.
