No Quick pay confirmation email received after paying bill manually?

Today I tried to pay my broadband bill - I had to relink my account to the new virgin/o2 accounts system which was quite confusing and unexpected.

I paid the bill manually which now says ‘paid’ in my account. I expected to get a ‘Quickpay payment confirmation’ email afterwards as usual but didn’t this time which makes me question if payment went through.

I did change my contact email address in settings but received no notification in either email accounts.

I wanted to ask do customers still receive the Quickpay ‘payment received’ confirmation by email since linking to this new virgin/o2 accounts system?

    You should of got a notification, to confirm you got nothing at all?

      Hi Matthew,

      I can confirm that there was no payment received notification sent. The bill is marked as paid in the account. Strangely - the  dashboard shows the wrong amount £36 and bill date for this months bill but when you click to view the bill, the amount is corrected. The dashboard does not seem to be pulling correct data and/or no payment notification email is being sent when paying manually.

      A glitch after signing to the new VM/02 system? Previously had no issues on the MyVirginMedia account system.

    I can confirm that I didn't get the 'payment received' notification after paying the bill. The confirmation email usually comes from Virgin Media Payments with a  payment receipt number.

    Also I see that the dashboard has the wrong details ie amount and bill date. But when you view the actual bill these details are correct. 

    A glitch in the system when linking to the new VM/02 system - wrong amount and no payment confirmation email ?  Previously had no issues on MyVirginMedia accounts system. Here are screenshots
