I placed an broadband only order this morning and completed payment and credit check but had no email or SMS confirmation through. Is there anyway to check on the progress of my order.

This is Virginmedia you're dealing with. They will get back to you when they are ready. Do not cancel any existing broadband service until VM is installed and working.
