New contract I didn't agree to 🤔

A chat with CS on the message service somehow resulted with me getting a new 24 month contract 🤔, Yes I was sent a pre contract to view while I was still having a conversation, I specifically text , No I don't want to go ahead as it's to expensive ( I have a screen shot of the conversation) 3 hrs later I get an email , thanks for the changes, here's your new 24 month deal !!!. I have since disputed this deal via the chat service and apparently they opened and closed my dispute with a running credit on my account bills going forward, which I agreed to. But what was agreed in the conversation is different from the contract anyway. Also apparently added was Netflix, which was nice , but iv nothing  to confirm the inclusion apart from a text conversation. So iv no idea where my bills currently stand going forward, a conundrum somewhat.

Even if they offer you a running credit that brings your monthly rate down to the original agreed price, this is not a good deal for you for two reasons.

    1. The full price will go up each year with the April rises, but the credit amount won't. So you'll be out of pocket by several pounds the first year and several more the second.
    2. At the end of the contract they will base any renewal offers on the full price, because the rolling credit was only for the finished contract.

Sorry to hear about the issue wth your contract.

I will be able to take a look into this for you.

If you don't mind, I'll need to send you a private message to pass security first.
If you can check the envelope at the top right of your screen, that would be great.

They have caught you in a new contract and hoping you will just accept it. It seems to be a common practice. A VM person here may offer to help, but be careful not to be dragged over the 14 days cancellation period.
