New Contract - new Account holder at same address

Hi, I'm moving out of our home and have a cancellation date where services will end later this month. My Ex is staying and would like to continue with Virgin media. Will he have to wait until services are disconnected to sign up for his own account. Thx

    Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

    As long as the existing account has a disconnection notice on there, the new account holder will be able to order services. They won't be able to go live until after the disconnection of the current account though. 

    He can look at signing up for services online here or he can chat to the sales team on 150 / 0800 083 1234.

      Thank you. Would it be best for the Ex to have the start date a day or two after the disconnection to save any mix-ups?

        The start date will automatically be the day after your services are disconnected, unless he wants to start it later. 

        Online, it will likely give him the soonest date we have available but once the team pick it up to process, the date will change to the day after your disconnection.
