Just been through the once every 18-month battle to get a new contract with VM. As unsatisfying and unnecessarily painful as ever.
Anyway... just got the new contract and on the initial monthly cost section it says:
£95 (£73.50 + £21.50)
I can't quite figure out what the two separate numbers are for. I have a broadband service with them (Volt Gig1 Broadband), is the £21.50 that?

Sorry to hear of your concerns.
Do you have any add-on services/stream subscriptions at all? These may show you the price of your main services and then your add-on/stream subscription services separately.
If not, does your contract package have an O2 SIM? This may show to the price of your Virgin Media Services and the price of the O2 SIM as these contracts and services and charged separately.

Yes, I do have an O2 SIM but that's £22.50 and I presumed it would be a separate contract from O2?
All I've got stream-wise added on is Netflix Standard with ads.

Is the SIM for £22.50 an existing SIM, or is that what you've been advised is the cost of a new SIM with is deal?
You would get a separate O2SIM contract for any O2SIM, but we do advise that your contract for the deal would be X amount for the Virgin Media service + X amount for the O2 service. These would also be charged separately.
The SIM is £22.50 in a new deal. Previous was about £27. I think it's the same SIM as before but I guess I need to wait to see what happens to be certain!
Honestly, if this price is for Virgin + the O2 SIM combined, I'll be very happy. I'm kinda thinking it's not, though.
