Moved, not getting what I agreed

I recently moved house and shopped around. Agreed a new package, same as before but to also include everything on hd, specifically emphasised sports. Connected on Tues and spent hours on chats being told I should be getting Sky sports hd. But now told I can’t get it until I speak to a manager who will review my case and contract and this will take up to 48 hrs. 

This is ridiculous? Anyone else been lured in?

    This is reported so often on here that one has to wonder whether it's VM policy to try and extract more money rather than the 'confusion' it's often blamed on.

    Forum topics regularly describe instances of VM 'confusion' to do with home moves and package changes.

    A VM person should reply here in due course and may offer to look into it for you.

    Depending on the outcome of that, you may want to make a DSAR to collect evidence of how your new package was agreed and what offer was made during the process
