Moved house charged extortionionate amount

I’ve moved house, settled all the payments from my old address and set up a new account at my new address. I was given assurances the rate would remain the same and shock horror it hasn’t. Been on live chat for hours only to be told I have to pay it. I’d rather eat a bowl of glass than pay so help me prevent this and sort it out: 

 

Old contract 39.16 pcm 

New contract 111 pcm

  • Either way 111 quid from 39 is insane. Called up virgin and did everything they told me to do. But Ta
