Missing Engineer Appointment

I had an engineer appointment scheduled for today, and the engineer has not shown up. I received a text message this morning confirming the appointment for today as well. Furthermore I have since gone onto my account and seen the date of the appointment has been changed by someone from today (Saturday) to next Tuesday, this will mark 5 days since my property has been without broadband. I would like the engineer to come out tomorrow (Sunday) as I live in a property that urgently needs wifi as all the inhabitants are students. How can I make this happen?

    Hi mhiggins2

Engineer appointments are automatically cancelled by the system if there are known faults.

Try using the /check-services/   function. This may tell you if there is a known local fault.

If nothing is showing there you should also try the automated Service Status number  0800 561 0061.  This is the most reliable and often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

You may also be due /automatic-compensation  of £30.49 for the missed appointment.

  • Hi mhiggins2,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome back, we are sorry to hear your Internet is down and has been for 5 days which we understand isn't great for a property with students who rely on the connection.

so we can look further into this for you I have sent you an invite into a private chat, please look out for the white envelope to accept.

    Regards

    Paul.
