May bill - gone up

My May bill has gone up to £56 from £45 in April. This is nearly 30%.

I've had no notification regarding this apart from the recent email stating a 7% rise.

This does not explain my rise and I am not particularly happy about it.

  • Does this coincide with the end of a fixed contract period?

To add to jpeg1's answer, check your previous bills and monthly contract. At the bottom of this, lists your undiscounted package price and details of any time-limited discounts you may have.

If you've just finished your minimum-term, it's quite likely that the bill could cover a period where you're paying full price due to discounts lapsing. Check the dates carefully. A ~20% discount would not be unusual.

  • Hello cejay_2k,

Welcome back to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your package price at the moment.

As jpeg1 has advised, are you currently at the end of your contracts initial term? This would mean that any introductory discounts have been removed.

    Kind Regards,

  • It did. Although I was unaware of this. Probably had an email in my Junk folder.
