Login to VM on browser+ TVtoGo on mobile

If I try to login to my Virgin Media on a browser (computer or phone) I get "Your email or password was incorrect. Please try again or go back to change your email. " I can no longer login to TVtoGo on my phone or computer.

However I can still login to my VM app on my phone.  I can also download emails through my phone app, and email client on my computer.

All these have the same logins so why can't I login? Has this anything to do with the merger with O2? I still use an Ntlworld.com address.
