I keep being redirected to online chat when I want to change my internet broadband package online

Hi,

I was planning to upgrade my fibre broadband internet package. When i clicked on this, the only option I have is to chat online with VM. When I chat with the bot,the bot at the end redirects me to the upgrade page on VM website, however, this page redirects me again to online chat. 

I am literally unable to change my package online. Please help, thanks.

  • I am now chatting with a customer support agent. Apparently, there is a technical issue with my account which doesn't allow anybody at VM to proceed with the package change. Perhaps this is why I cannot do this online either, but not I am not 100% sure.

      Welcome to the Community Forums 

      Sorry to hear about your issues with trying to upgrade your package online and via the chat. If you have any old/legacy codes that we use to build packages, then this might require a manual change that the automated service wouldn't be able to fix. 

      Has the team now been able to offer you a deal or have they advised this needs investigating by the IT team to resolve the account issues first?

        Hi Carley_S. No, i haven't receuved any information abiut any packages still. 

        I have now a new account number as i activated the internet at my new address. 

        When I want to register this account VM website asks for area reference code. Could you help me to let me know this code? My postcode is SM4 6LP. Thanks.
