Today an elderly relative called Customer Services to ask how much the Netflix Addon would cost her on her existing contract.
Instead of answering her question the advisor repeatedly tried to sell her a new contract with Netflix included for free.
After several attempts she finally got the information she was calling for, and she was told that the Netflix Standard (WITH ADS) Addon will cost her £10.99 per month.
Then he tried again to sell her a new 24 month contract.
She said "no thank you" for maybe the 10th time, and hung up.
Less than 10 minutes later he calls her on her home number to try and sell her the new contract again.
I'm a bit disturbed by his behaviour, and I consider calling her back a form of harassment of an elderly person.
This is not the first time this has happened to her.
Virtually every time she calls customer service with a simple question they try extremely aggressively to sell her something, new contracts, or sim cards or something.
I think it's very wrong and disgusting.
