How do i arrange a new, reasonable deal after my 18 months contract ends?

Hello, i am hoping someone can help me with how i can get in touch with the department to select a new deal after my 18 month deal ends in feb next year. For 5 years now i have always phoned up close to my deal expiring, spoked to someone in retentions and always hammered out a new deal successfully. I am currently on 107 a month, and my online dashboard is offering me 117 a month from feb for the next 18 months. I can accept this immediately if its what i wanted.......But as usual i phoned up to see if it could be slightly better............This time i wasted a whole hour on the phone and ended up being offered both "151" a month and a speacial deal of "124" a month!

Trying to explain to the person on the phone that this was higher then my current offer was mind blowing so i gave up!

Anyone got some advice how i can speak to someone in authority that can help me out? Have been vm for 15 years but after this experience im looking at similar sky stream packages to what i have coming in around the 100 a month mark for 24 months. Thanks.

    Price up your alternative providers, have a price in mind, and then contact Retentions as you always have done to negotiate a new deal. Be prepared to either give notice or accept an offer, there & then.

    You can also use the WhatsApp chat method, but it's not real-time. You can't arrange packages via this forum.

  • Thanks for the advice japitts, i did indeed try to nogotiate as i have done the last 5 years, however the person i spoke to this time in retentions, struggled to understand me so i spent 40 minutes explaining the situation to someone who had a very basic grasp of english. I will take you advice and see what price sky will give me for the package i currently have from february onwards..... Appreciate your reply.
