Hacked

 I had a sim swap done on my phone number they hacked my phone co website got my puk code and took my number now they have control of my email address at VM when I click on forgot password the link goes to the hacker own email address so I cant get access to my details to change password etc I have reported to VM but I don't think they understand it the hacker is now going to all my banks trying to withdraw money I need to go to a shop so I can explain what they need to do. Help

    Update I found in my spam email the hacker had set his own VM/02:ID and  Pass Key so I have no access to the backend to change passwords etc so how do I get VM to delete the hackers VM/02  ID and Passkey so I can create my own and take back control of my accounts

      As advised, we aren't able to do this via the forums and you would need to speak to the team on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 option 1, then option 2 this will get you through to the technical team who will be happy to look into this further for you.

        Hi Robert I spoke to adviser and he has changed my logon details to another email address I have and we set up a password to login, input email address into  Sign in or register for Virgin Media O2, a link gets sent to the right email I click on the link verify email address then the page times out with an Error This request has expired or is invalid.
        Return to the application and restart the process. The adviser did say it could take 24hours to setup is this normal ? Another question would setting up this new email through the hacker out of my account ? Regards Steve

    Hi Robert update I have finally created my VM/02 ID and links go back to my email address I created for VM/o2 ID  and password added ID" sorted", When I try to add my Virgin Media account it is linked to [MOD EDIT: Email address removed] This account is password protected by the hacker so I cannot link VM to my VM/02 ID as I donot know what the password is So we need to change the linked account to another VM Email address ntlworld.com or change the password of steve.burgess3 and give it to me so I can link my VM account to VM/02 Hope you understand what I am saying Kind Regards Steve
