First bill estimate makes no sense

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could help me understand my first bill estimate please?

I signed up to the sports package which is £56.99 a month, and added the UHD package which is £7 a month.

With the black Friday deal the first 3 months should be free so I only expect to pay £7 a month for the UHD.

Initial set up was £49.95 as I had the TV 360 box but I was told that I'd get £25 credit towards this and that there were no fees for installation (I have email confirmation for this credit).

My estimate is currently showing as £66.63, having already increased from £63.95 for no reason, but either seem way too high.

I'd expect the initial bill to be £24.95 plus £14 for the first month and following month of UHD, so £38.95 in total.

Can anyone help me with explaining what's going on?

    From memory, VM bill 2 months for the initial bill as you pay in advance?

  • Yeah that's what I expected so it should come to £38.95, not sure where they get their estimate from, especially now it's £66.63 which is an odd figure

      You've probably worked this out yourself, but the first estimate was exactly £25 more than you were expecting, so that hadn't come off.

      The actual bill itself should have the full breakdown of what is included. If you don't have that yet, it is worth checking the contract on the website and see if that is what you were expecting.

    Yes the first estimate kind of made sense though the credit needs sorting.

    The second estimate is odd though and I don't understand, unfortunately an itemised bill hasn't been generated yet.  The contract matches what I was expecting.
