Confusion with clarity in Virgin TV recontracting.

Hi

I have recently renewed my Virgin TV and Broadband contract. My new TV/Broadband contract is comprised of Maxit TV, TNT Sports (add-on), TV 360 Box, TV 360 Mini Box (hard wired by cable to main box), M250 Broadband, Phone line rental/weekend chatter/Voicemail (free add on). I am confused about a couple of things

My contract seems to include an additional box (which we do not have or asked for)

In My Virgin App (on my phone) there is a section "Package details" which I cannot find when I log in on a PC. This section includes my contract start date; end date; payment total. It also has a section on "Extra devices" which lists 1xVirgin TV 360 Box (£5 per month); 1xVirgin TV 360 Mini box (£5 per month) and 1xSuper Hub 5 (£0 per month). 

Do Virgin charge £5 for their 360 TV Box, which I thought is part of Maxit TV package? I understand the charge for the TV360 Mini box. 

Why is the additonal box included when we don't have one.

Why does the content from My Virgin on my phone app not mirror the content on my PC?

    VM operate a multi-bundle discount system, where additional services usually add additional discounts resulting in a lower per-unit price.

    It wouldn't be unusual for additional multiroom TV boxes to make a package cheaper overall - it certainly works that way for landlines especially.

    It's pretty standard practice that bundles have their individual elements listed but not price-quoted - you only get the price for the complete bundle of services.

    As japitts has advised, the more services you have with us the more discounts are available, set top boxes are rented and not included in the cost of the package when additional boxes are used.

     

    If you have renewed recently, there can be a delay in what is advised via the MyVM app and your online account as it can take some time for all of the information and details to update following a change.
