Confirmation of Cancellation


Hello,

I used to be a customer with Virgin Media but I cancelled my services on the 14th February 2024. 

I have an account with a company who send out login verification codes to my old virgin media email address, so I have lost access to the account. The other company wont change my email address on the account unless I get confirmation from Virgin that I no longer have access to my virgin media email.

I have used Virgins online chat and also phoned them up but I'm getting nowhere. One of the women I spoke to even said they can't send me an email confirming I no longer have access to all the services.

Is there anyone that can help me just get a confirmation email that all my services have now been cancelled?

    We're sorry to hear you're having some issues with a third party company. We don't have a way of sending out an email of this kind I'm afraid. 

    What we can do though is take some details and pop you a private message confirming the disconnection date of the services. In order to do that I'll need to confirm some information with you to pass security so I've sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you're using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you're on a mobile/tablet device then instead, click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
