Change package

I no longer watch TV and the telephone has been unused for out going calls for 10 + yrs.

managed to eventually talk to someone and explain my requirements, TV and phone disconnected within 24 hours. But they would not give me a price for the revised package? Was told to ring back on the 16/17th 😳. 
Why is this? I am paying for tv/phone and broadband but only getting broadband, why can I not be told the cost? Any admin shed any light on this?

    When you make a package change, by removing services, it is highly likely that VM will start you on a new 18 months minimum term period.

    Due to VM's 'bundling' approach to pricing, it would not be impossible for you to discover that your price has actually gone up by dropping to broadband only.

    You have a 14 day cooling off period to revert to your previous package/price after making the change.

    The 'ring back on the 16/17th' instruction will inhibit your ability to use the 14 day cooling off period so you should make some urgent enquires to find out what exactly you have agreed to when the TV and phone were disconnected.

      Unfortunately I need to drop the tv as I longer subscribe to the left wing bias broadcasting on mainstream tv ,never watched it anyway.
