Can't link virgin media O2 ID

I’ve been getting the same error below when trying to log into my virgin media account to access my broadband bills since November last year and have contacted Virgin Media over 10 times with absolutely no resolution. Every time, it’s the same script: try a different browser, clear cache and data, use a different email. I’ve done all of that, multiple times and nothing works.

What makes this even more frustrating is that they always say they have no direct contact with their technical team which I find really strange. All they can do, apparently, is “raise a ticket” and promise that someone will get back to me within 5 working days. That has never happened. Not once. It’s been over two months now and I still can’t access my account.

I’ve raised a formal complaint, still nothing. I was told I’d be credited £30 for the inconvenience, but I don’t even know if that’s been applied because I can’t access my account. To make matters worse, I don’t even receive my bills via email. Honestly, if I could give Virgin Media zero stars for customer service, I would. This whole experience has been a nightmare and shockingly bad for a company of this size.

I’m at a loss now, which is why I’m posting here. Has anyone experienced this or knows how to actually get through to someone who can fix it? Any help would be massively appreciated

    Hi,

I'm getting this issue as of today 30/01/26. I am trying to pay my latest bill but I'm directed to the 'linking accounts' web page.

I have tried linking my VM account to the O2 login but when I click on the link in the email, to verify the change, it just opens a new browser window displaying the VM main website. I have managed to set up a passkey to go password-less but this won't allow me to log in or link the accounts either.

I know my email addresses don't match for the O2 and VM accounts. I think one email address is an alias because it still delivers emails.

I'd like to be able to log in so I can pay my latest bill.

    Thank you,
    Ed.

Hi, I also have exactly the same problem.

      Can you help?
