Can't change contact number in account settings

I've tried multiple times to change my contact number in Account Settings > Marketing and contact preferences but every time I do, it says its saved but then when I go back/refresh, the old number is still showing. My contract is up soon and I need to be contacted on the correct number as the landline number on my account is no longer in use.
