Cannot sign in to my Virgin media account For a month now .wish to complain

I have emailed the resolution team regarding this but have had no reply . This is a serious matter as people require to be able to access the account for which they are paying (often too high an amount in my case for a basic package )I have decided not to pay my bill this month until this is sorted out and will not acceprt any "late payment" charge at such time as I resume payment .         I am not on 02 and don't use a mobile phone at all so the insistance that I log in as if I have consented to use 02 is not something that I wish to comply with The service is horrendous and if I cannot conplain on here I will take it further legally in the coming week Please people don't stand for this awful service  and make sure we are all compensated very soon for the inconvenience and loss of a service we are paying for dearly

    Not paying your bill will only hurt you.  No one making decisions in VM will even notice or care.

    Not paying your bill, in the hope of initiating some help from VM, never works out in the way the customer hopes for based on many similar past topics on here.

    All it does is kick start VM's debt recovery processes which can start with late payment fees and, ultimately, end up with a trashed credit history and debt collectors at the door. These processes are automated so there will not be anyone at VM who will pick up the phone to contact you as a result of your bill being unpaid.

    Presumably you are locked out of 'My Virgin Media' as a result of the single sign on fiasco and you do not want to link to O2 as you are not an O2 customer.

    Is it just access to My VM you have lost or have you also lost access to an email mailbox as well?

    A VM person will reply here eventually (typically a few days) but the high volume of similar topics might mean they take a bit longer.

    I've never been able to log into my account for the whole 18 months I've had their broadband and now I've come to cancel but because I contacted them 31 days before the end of my contract rather than 30 they've said I've cancelled early and will charge me for this. Only reason I called the day early was because it was my mum's funeral and I don't think it's really appropriate to expect me to call them and put the funeral on hold just so I can cancel on a set day. Maybe people should speak to their parents about being more considerate about when they die. Such a vile disgusting company and attitude from their staff. Karma comes back on you ten fold

      So sorry to hear this and I agree with you on all you say ,

      I think we all need both an apology and compensation as we are paying for a servicenwhich we are not able to use consistantly , My sincere condolences and best wishes to you ,Heather
