Cancelling VM

I am considering cancelling my package and going onto Sky because I can get a cheaper deal with Sky for what I want. Therefore I want to know how long everything from VM is cut off from my time of cancelling so I can get the transition period to Sky as close as possible to the VM disconnection.

 

  • You need to give VM 30 days notice to cancel. If your disconnection date falls within a minimum term period, VM may charge you early disconnection fees.

    Usual advice on here is to try to overlap the two services if feasible/affordable for you to do so. This means that you have VM to still fall back on if there is a delay installing Sky and you can also evaluate Sky within your 14 day cooling off period and still have VM to fall back on if Sky turns out not to be suitable for you.

  • My contract is up for renewal in December 2024

    I Contacted the VM team about a recontract and was given a price which will be nearly £10.00

    more what I am paying now and I could get a deal with Sky for much less than this and with more tv channels etc
