Cancelled move results in phone line being cut off (11 days and counting) - nobody resolving it

I was due to move home on 11/3 and had set up a transfer of virgin services. House move was cancelled and we changed the date with Virgin well in advance - no issues.

On the original date of move (11/3) broadband and tv carried on working but landline phone stopped receiving incoming calls and callers get a message saying "you've dialled an incorrect number....."

Called virgin on 15/3 and after an hour and a half they couldn't resolve it and I was told a member of the "Field Support Operations Team" would contact within 24-48 hours.

Nobody called.

Rang again on 18/3 and after an hour of going through the same process was told a member of the "Field Support Operations Team" would contact within 24 hours.

Nobody called.

Ranf again today 22/3 and spent another hour going around in circles. Told this time that a member of the "back office team" will call within 3-5 days. They don't appear to have telephones so you can ring them yourself...........

Without landline for 11 days. No confidence whatsoever that I'll ever get a call.

How do you break through this horrendous process?

Those are just two of the many excuses that the phone staff can choose from to get rid of your call, when they don't have an answer to your query on their script.

You may be lucky and get your thread answered by a staff member here who can intervene on your behalf, but don't rely on it.
