Cancel Paper Billing

Hi - I am unable to cancel the paper billing; I am following all of the instructions, see below, and it's not working. All previous posts about this have ended with a direct mailing so I am unsure of what to do. Can someone please advise please. TIA

1. Sign in to Your Account

2. Select My profile at the top of the page

3. Go to the eBilling section and select Switch to eBilling

4. Follow the instructions to complete your registration

      Hello - as stated above I now have paperless billing, thank you. However I am aware that my contract is up for renewing in September this year, can you please tell me how that will be handled now that my account is dealt with online? Also I have only just noticed that my bill increased in April this year, can you tell me why that is? Sorry for the delay in raising this but unfortunately I had an accident on 17th April this year and am still recovering.

        Hi DebJon,

        Thank you for reaching back out,  sorry to hear about your accident, I hope you had a speedy recovery.

        Whether you have a paper or paperless bill this does not effect your contract or how you negotiate a new deal or cancel if this is what you wanted to do, in regards to your price going up in April this was due to our Annual price increase which we did advise all customers in advance.

        When your contract has 30 days remaining we advised speaking to our Customer Relations team on either 150 from a Virgin Media Landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, options 1,3 then 4.

  • This does not work as I’m sure you are aware. 
    Can you please provide the solution to stop me being charged for a paper l bill when I never requested one in the first place!!

      Sorry to hear you're having some issues with paper bills, can you confirm if you've opted in to have ebilling via your online account?

        I cannot see anywhere that gives the option to opt in to ebilling. I looked on the marketing and contact preference tab but nothing there.
