broadband order

i placed an order in yesterday at 12pm for student broadband for the student house iโ€™ll be moving into Saturday and accidentally forgot to change the order date. it is coming friday but that isnt possible as we wont have moving by then.

also, i have received no other communication from virgin other than the order email and pre-signing contract details so i donโ€™t have an account number meaning i cannot make an account.

    You could try calling the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 and have a chat with them.

    They are open  8:00am to 9:00pm  Monday to Friday, and 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday

    (It can take a couple of days for a member of the forum team to pick up your post)

    Sorry to hear these concerns about your installation date. 

    We are a bit limited in the support we can offer for pre-installation issues - if the order is already on it's way we sadly can't change the delivery date, but providing it is a QuickStart order, you should be able to wait until you do have access to the property and package, and then complete the self-install on the date you are available. 

    Alternatively you can give the pre-install team a call on ๐Ÿ“ž0800 052 1734  and they will be able to offer further support. Please let us know how you get on ๐Ÿคž and we can then offer further assistance if needed!

  • just had a call with virgin about issues from my last post, looked over the contract when phone call was done and saw the lady who helped me on the phone call spelt my last name wrong. so it now appears wrong in my contract what do i do?

      Thank you for your post and welcome to the community. 

      If you have only just had your order placed then it can take up to 24 hours to show on our system.

      If you contact in after 24 hours we should be able to amend the incorrectly spelt name.
