broadband only

I have an existing package (landline phone, tv, broadband) and i would like broadband only as I can no longer hear or watch tv or hear properly on the phone (not to mention continuous barrage of scam calls which are causing me anxiety) due to failing health due to a stroke, I can however enlarge things on my laptop to read anything. plus sound is amplified.  What I am asking here is can VM change my package to broadband only?  I have been with VM for over 25 years and have been happy with them.

The theoretical answer to your question about broadband only is 'yes'. The practical answer is that VM's sales agents, and their pricing of packages, will very likely lay down many obstacles to stop you downgrading to broadband only. It's not impossible but the outcome may depend on the particular agent and any offers you might get on the day of contacting VM.

VM broadband alone can be very expensive compared to other providers. Have you looked into pricing/speeds from other providers to see what you can get at your location? You would be a new customer with another provider and would get new customer pricing.

You are unlikely to receive a reply from the VM forum team here in ‘Tech Chatter’. A VIP or moderator might move your topic to a better forum, such as ‘Managing Your Account – Cable’ to get a VM reply.
