Bill says paid but I haven't paid anything

Hi, so I normally get an email around the 14th of the month to say my latest bill is ready and I always pay it around the 28th when I get paid but when I went to pay at end of March it claimed it had already been paid and when I had a look at my emails I haven't received any there. Anyone else had this happen as I'd rather not be overdue if possible.

    Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.
    Sorry to hear you're having to query your latest bill. We do get updates within the company if we have any billing issues.

    Nothing has been reported to us so, I'd like to investigate this for you.
    If you don't mind, I'll need to send you a private message to pass security. 
    If you can check the envelope at the top right of your screen, that would be great.

  • I'm having the same issue. Says I have paid but they are chasing me for payment 🤷‍♂️

  • I'm also having the same issue. My Virgin Media says latest bill paid but have received an email today saying bill not paid. On calling the "Helpline", selecting option 1, "Billing", then option 4, "Other", the Bot immediately tells me that I haven't selected an option and cuts me off. This has now happened 5 times.

    I just want to talk to someone in Billing but this appears to be impossible. Does VM actually have a Billing team at their call centre? How can I speak to them?

      Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your billing at the moment. Any agent that you speak to on the phone should be able to assist with any billing queries that you have. I've been able to look into this on our system but can only speak to you via private message as we'd need to pass account security. Please look out for my private message and we can get started and get this investigated for you.

        Steven _L, I have responded to the private message as requested but no further response received as yet. How does this process work? 

        You say any agent I talk to can solve Billing queries, but I have found it completely impossible to get past the VM bots and speak to a real person. Can you give me a number to speak to a real person and/or tell me the options I need to get past the bots.

        If I owe money I'm happy to pay but you are telling me on the VM App that I have paid and at the same time by email that I haven't. Your systems just aren't fit for purpose. I've been trying to get this sorted for 2 days now and am getting frustrated and annoyed.

        However, on the plus side, I'm delighted to hear by automated email that I've now received a new rank as a VM Community contributor.

  • Am I just being ignored...you have made it impossible to make a payment till now and now you are threatening to cut my services off...worst company ever
