Bill payment

I would like to speak to someone in this country about the Netflix charge. I have been ringing up every month to get netflix taken off, I have checked on netflix itself and I do not have an account with them but every month virgin take the payment and then I ring and the call centre person says they will take it off last month no charge then bill came yesterday and it's on there again. I'm fed up keep ringing and if it doesn't get sorted properly I'm cancelling and going to sky

Welcome back to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear that Netflix has not been removed from your service.

If you don't have Netflix inclusive in your package, then this would be an 'Add to bill' service. This is when an existing Netflix account is paid through your Virgin Media bill. The account is not created by Virgin Media, but through Netflix's app/website and then the account is added to the Virgin Media bill through the set-top box or through the My Virgin Media account itself.

Netflix would need to remove this,  or this would continue to be billed through Virgin Media. We cannot cancel Netflix as an 'Add to bill' service. This may also explain why you've continued to be charged, as the account has been created through Netflix and not by Virgin Media.

Removing the charges one month on an 'Add to bill', service would only be re-added on the next bill by the request of Netflix, as they're saying there is an account.

We recommend contacting Netflix to advise on this, as there is a Netflix account on their side that is requesting billing through Virgin Media.

Keep us posted with how you get on.
