Aklamio Reward

Hi

 

I had my services start on December 24 2024, I used a friends refer link to join, having chased Aklamio up for the reward, they have opened a case on my friends portal, see screenshot, and have sent me an email saying the below:-

'We have successfully created a Support Request for you and your friend (ID: 158998), which we will promptly forward to our partner, Virgin Media, for verification.

Please note that Virgin Media typically requires up to 3 months to process and verify the request. While we understand the importance of timely resolution, we kindly ask for your patience during this verification period. Unfortunately, we have no control over the time it takes our partner to complete this process.'

THREE MONTHS?!?!?!?!?! really??? it takes Virgin media 3 months to look into and send the bonus out? Seriously, can Virgin look into this for me please. I have a trail of emails from Aklamio where all they seem to be doing is stalling :(

    Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

    We're sorry to hear there's been an issue with your reward being processed automatically. 

    I'm afraid all refer a friend rewards are managed directly via Aklamio and we're unable to support further via the Community. When referring a friend to our services, they would need to sign up via the unique link that is sent to them via an E-Mail that would be generated by the referee.

    When the referred customer then signs up and the cooling off period has been completed, which is 14 days after install, the £50 credit for both parties is entered into an account, which you would need to create with Aklamio: www.virginmedia.aklamio.com

    Both parties can then withdraw the money from the Aklamio account and into your bank account.

      so why are Aklamio saying  that

      They are implying it is with you VM now, and I did use my friends unique link. So now do i wait 3 months for VM who you are saying nothing to do with VM?

        If Aklamio need further verification checks then they will have their own internal contacts. The timeline will depend on how busy those teams are which is likely why they've advised 'up to'. 

        We're not able to help with this further via the Community I'm afraid. Aklamio will get back to you once they have an update.
