Phishing calls

this week received two scam calls one was from a lady claimed she was from virgin media and when i answered her she went silent and all i heard was office workers in the background no one speaking on the other end of the call the reason i am reporting this is because the number it came from was a genuine 345 454 1111 is it possible that scammers are spoofing legit virgin media numbers

    Numbers can be cloned by scammers to appear legitimate. Don't always trust what you see on caller display.
