Virgin TV 360 'install' graphic

Can anyone please tell me if one accidentally clicks onto this graphic which 'rather conveniently' appears both in the top left hand corner of the APPS & also above top right, would our existing V6 box no longer work with the 'Tivo' and new software be loaded?

This would seem very unfair if we'd rather stay with our V6 box ( as we are at present )

Hopefully, all that might happen in this instance would be some sort of notification alerting virgin to make contact with us to ask if we'd like to convert!

Thanks

Can you post a picture or screenshot of the graphic that you're asking about?

If you're happy with the TiVo-firmware on your V6, then I wouldn't personally click on anything remotely to do with TV360. If that triggers the ordering of the remote control which then leads into the SW download being a matter of time, then it depends whether that's a risk you're willing to take.

Very sorry unable to provide a picture or screenshot ( don't have a smartphone ) when you click on Apps & games, then Apps at least on our tv that is, in the top left hand corner is an app which is green & blue and says 'TV 360 install now' it also appears on the constantly changing panel above ( which promotes films & shows ) if this makes sense.

I wouldn't click on this app deliberately but wondered as there are three of us in this household, if someone accidentally clicked onto it would we no longer have the choice to stay with Tivo -V6

It's the same for all of us TiVO V6 users. Just ignore it as you would if you are not interested in anything a link on a web page might be selling.

      Hi nodrogd / Japitts

Yes, none of us would click on the app deliberately but should a moderator be monitoring this post I'd like them to see if it can be removed. I've had enough of being 'tricked' into migrating to TV360! I wondered ( as Japitts asked me for a picture /screen shot ) if I had got this app because of the service call I made a week or so ago when one of my V6 boxes was playing up. I had no idea that the agent was sending the engineer along with new remotes in order to install this new software. The engineer was very pleasant and obeyed our wishes to stay as we are, however he knew that if he had changed our 'faulty' V6 box for another it would have automatically had the TV360 software already in it!
