Problems with forum

I have had problems accessing the forum over the last two days; I find myself now able to access posts.  My ID stated that I "didn't exist", nor could I access anything on the forum.  I went surfing the forum in circles,   Under the settings section there are 12 different IP addresses (some internal beginning with 10, others with 81, 82 and one 193).

This leads me to think (ask) of the following:

  • has the forum been hacked?
  • is there a data breach?
  • have I done something wrong or posted stuff that is objectionable?
  • (as mentioned elsewhere) a bug with CloudFlare (as I get the occasional 502 bad gateway error)?
  • is it bugs or errors in the forum software?
  • is it a Windows problem?
  • am I being stupid?
  • all/none of the above.

If it were bugs or errors in the software, I presume they have now been fixed as I can now make posts again.  Any comments, help etc are welcome.  Cheers.

    and still VM can't seem to fix the IP logon bug that someone did to there routers for the forum

    which asks a question VM use are IP to know who we are but now the forum shows from 10. so they can't check who we are now?

    Same mess being seen here ... 

    The 10 family are all local IPs.

    The 51 belongs to Amazon Web Services & is a public IP.

    The two 86 are both VM customer IPs in the Colchester area. 

    Out of all of these one of the redacted ones is the correct IP for us.

    Problems for me today - "Unexpected Error" refresh page  -  Internal Server Error, and the link to return to Community Forum does not work ...   This place is slowly disintegrating ...

    Finally the Keep me signed in option has started to work.

    But click on Forum Account menu >> Profile

    Difficulty getting into the Off Topic sections this morning, it keeps going to the Home page

    and couldn't find myself either  or my posts

      User not found is back; F5 (on Edge at least) or refresh seems to fix it.

    It can look fine on the surface,  I can see titles of threads I posted to years ago, but all the content has gone. I see the not found errors.on Every old thread

    Annoying. I want proof that Virgin agreed to me binning a useless trial wifi pod, back when I joined a free trial.

    I don't want to see a bill for it when I leave soon, and all the posts assuring me that won't happen have vanished.

    The Forum is dog slow to access at the moment and drops the session with out warning.

    Just managed to reconnect to see the little bell lit up how exciting :  

     

    Only to find yet another defect ages old posts are highlighted  :

    Frequently having to delete browsing history when I keep getting blank pages moving about and then having to login again as I get logged out then 🤔
