old virgin email problem

Many, Many moons ago I opened an email address for my daughter. She used it happily on her mobile with a password. When it came to all this nonsense of having a secondary email address instead of connecting it to mine she used her own secondary email address that she uses.  Suddenly just as she needs to access extremely important info in her emails they have blocked it for security reasons. No explanation as to what security problem made them close it in the first place, which is in itself worrying. On contacting them they said the email address wasn't linked to her own virgin account, which she now has. A ticket was raised nearly a month ago to try and sort the problem..  I contacted them to explain it was set up on my account and asked for a solution.  I have spoken to so many customer service operatives and managers I have lost count. Promises have being made to re-open it and broken.  Tickets to a mysterious secondary department have been raised many times, there are even 2 complaint numbers for the one query.  I am not very technically minded, half the time |I have no idea what virgin are rabbiting on about, but what I thought would be a simple task that just needed a call is proving to be a nightmare. Is there anyone higher than this mysterious secondary team I can appeal to for help?

One thing VM won't do is transfer an email account from one VM customer to a different VM customer. If that was what she was trying to do it will have failed.

The bad news is that VM have been losing interest in their email service and its future is in doubt. They stopped issuing new email addresses four years ago, and many accounts that do not meet their current criteria have been closed.
